As a resident of the Morgan Creek area, we just received a letter from the Surrey planning department in regards to a new development in the area.
It is great to receive the proposal from the city, but as I read on, this is what it said:
“The proposal, including all relevant drawings and building elevations, is available in English and Chinese on our website.”
Chinese?
As far as I know, we are still part of Canada, a bilingual country whose two official languages are English and French.
