We pay 50 cents a litre in fuel taxes.
That equals $1 billion a year for Metro Vancouver. That should be enough to fund everything.
Transportation Investment Corp. CEO Mike Proudfoot claims modelling shows drivers will flock to the Port Mann Bridge to pay tolls.
Is that the same modelling that showed people would use the Golden Ears Bridge instead of sitting in traffic on Highway 1?
We are so tired of government’s hand in our pockets.
