South Surrey basketball player and former Elgin Park Secondary hoops captain Elle Kerfoot was named to Canada’s national women’s development team last week.
The development hoops squad will compete at the 2011 Summer Universiade in Shenzhen, China from Aug. 12-23.
Kerfoot, a point guard, currently plays for the Seattle University Redhawks.
