Marpole Curling Club's Craig Rampton rink were the big winners at Peace Arch Curling Centres' Hunter Open men's bonspiel last weekend, capturing the 'A' title over a Langley rink skipped by Darren Frycz.
Rampton's rink includes third Wayne Nurse, second Patrick Kyle and lead David Rampton.
In the B final, former Canadian masters (60-plus) champion Rick Pughe defeated Peace Arch's Darrell Zbeetnoff, making a raise-takeout on the final shot of the game to score four points in the last frame.
In the C final, PACC's Andrew Paul (with third Trevor McGregor, second Ross Scott and lead Doug Boynton) defeated Langley's Kent Bird.
In total, 16 teams – five from Peace Arch – competed in the event.
