Are you ready for some football?
The White Rock-South Surrey Titans minor football association is gearing up for its next season, and there are still spots to fill on a number of teams, even as practices for some teams has already started earlier this month.
The Titans’ two junior flag-division teams (ages 5-7) are both full, as is the junior-bantam 12-player tackle team (age 13-14). However, according to association vice-president Tina Giustino, space is still available in the bantam division (age 14-15) and for the midget team (ages 16-18). All teams have just recently starting practising, but equipment won’t be distributed until early August, “so it’s still a great time to join.”
