James Hetfield has given up on Instagram after only a short while.
The Metallica frontman, who tried out the social media platform in an attempt to be cool for his kids, said it's too much of a time suck.
"I was trying to be hip, I was trying to be cool. My kids are on Instagram so I wanted to try this thing," said Hetfield.
