I write unvarnished opinion columns and unbiased news reports for the Surrey Now-Leader and have received 30 North American, national and provincial writing awards in categories such as outstanding columnist, best opinion writing, outstanding reporter initiative and best election coverage.
I’m the author of two books: Millennium Milestones: A history of Surrey, White Rock and North Delta, and Like a Rock: The Chuck Cadman Story (B.C. Bestseller) and have been named a Friend of Heritage by Delta and Surrey, where I live with my family and a formidable cactus, Igor.
